Even as Barack Obama officially declares his intent to run for re-election as President of the United States, questions of his legitimacy are being raised in ever greater numbers – and rightfully so.
Let us cut to the core on this “Birther” issue shall we? As most within the media continue to either ignore, or offer up repeated defense in favor of Barack Obama’s constitutional qualification to run for President of the United States, some very simple facts persist that point to potentially troubling – perhaps even explosive, truths regarding the early history of Barack Obama.
Putting aside the rather colorful history of Obama’s far left radical atheist mother, who, according to Obama’s own story, struck up relations with an African born political radical/Marxist/atheist who, soon after Obama’s birth, returned to Africa. (Where he had already fathered and abandoned two earlier children when coming to America. It is likely Obama Sr. was still married to a woman in Africa at the time he married Barack’s mother Ann Dunham.) And let us also put aside the second prominent (and almost equally controversial) male figure in Obama’s life, his alcoholic stepfather Lolo Soetoro, a Muslim Indonesian government worker. And then we come to the grandparents – who, much like their free love 60’s daughter, embraced much of the goofy multi-cultural radicalism of the 1960’s and 70’s – a radicalism they firmly implanted in a young, insecure, and very impressionable Barack Obama. The Dunham’s, while living in Washington State, were enthusiastic members of the East Shore Unitarian Church, a far-left institution once led by admitted communist John Stenhouse. The Unitarian Church is noted for its far left ideology, support of socialist causes, environmentalism, and world government. Of course there is also the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, the Black communist who the Dunham’s decided would prove a strong male influence in the life of young Barack – an influence Barack himself would later openly acknowledge. Davis was a social-justice poet-author and member of the American Communist Party. (again – just ignore all of these details folks, just as the mainstream media has…nothing to see here…move along now…) The influence of Davis on Obama is undeniable. In the 1940s and 50s Davis became immersed in the Chicago labor movement, lending his services as a literary community organizer – the very path Barack Obama would later choose when he would relocate to Chicago from Hawaii. And what then of that Chicago arrival? Who was the defining male figure of influence for a still-young but rising star Barack Obama then? There should be no debate over spending in D.C. at this point. Over the last seventy years, our federal government, behaving as an unconstitutional supreme central power, has sent the most productive and prosperous nation on earth on the path toward third-world status.
Bickering over a few billion in planned deficit spending above $1.65 trillion in just the next year -- when the nation is already more than $14 trillion in unsustainable debt threatening the very existence of our dollar -- is the definition of insanity.
Democrats are forcing a so-called shutdown in their effort to keep spending money we don't have. Republicans are calling for only a symbolic level of spending cuts. Nobody in Washington, D.C. seems serious about ending the fiscal insanity. Even the president's bipartisan debt panel is recommending deficit spending for at least another twenty-five years.
I say, shut it down! The federal government has done as much to harm the union of states as it has ever done to improve freedom and liberty in America. We will be better off without a federal government, with each state able to fund and govern itself better than the Fed ever could.
Extreme threats demand extreme measures, and nothing threatens the future freedom and prosperity of the United States more than our own federal government. Enemies beyond, we can deal with. It's the enemy within which threatens us most today. It's time to shut it down and reset. Read More

The former Hawaii elections official who maintains there’s no long-form birth certificate for Barack Obama in the Aloha State is now saying the president and his aides have been “caught fibbing” about Obama’s background, and the “embarrassing” situation is making it difficult to fess up to the truth.
Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 campaign, made the statements in a two-hour interview with a group looking to disprove claims made by so-called birthers, those challenging Obama’s legal qualification to be president.
“I think people believe there’s been some kind of cover-up. And I don’t think it’s some big nefarious conspiracy. I think it’s politics as usual,” Adams said March 31 on Reality Check Radio, an Internet program on BlogTalkRadio.
“Barack Obama’s official autobiography was put out to the public for the public’s consumption and we all know politicians – they have a public persona, it’s created for consumption by the electorate – and I think that they’ve been caught fibbing, and it’s embarrassing.”
But Adams, who described himself as “pretty much a liberal” who backed Hillary Clinton in the campaign, thinks the president should produce a long-form birth certificate if he has one, even if it contains information that does not go along with the narrative proffered so far by Obama and his surrogates.

The Washington Times reports that the move to eliminate the 1099 provision is the first major change to the health care bill that has taken place since it was first voted into law. And it was one that both Democrats and Republicans eventually ended up agreeing to oppose together, a move that may signal a significant boost in momentum towards increased bipartisan support for other key health care repeals.
The repealed 1099 provision would have allegedly raised about $19 billion to help pay for the enormous costs associated with Obamacare. Now that this funding source has been eliminated -- with nothing else having been put in its place as a replacement -- some of the logistical wind in the health bill's sails has also been removed. The Republicans have proposed a plan to extend government funding for one more week so that negotiations may continue, but the Democrats have rejected it. Obama has summoned Reid and Boehner to the White House tonight in an attempt to hash out a deal, but most observers are not particularly optimistic. Sadly, government debt is going to expand at a mind blowing pace this year no matter who wins this battle.

Internationalist billionaire George Soros is holding his international conference April 8 to April 11 at Bretton Woods, N.H., the noted birthplace of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, where he plans to “rearrange the entire financial order,” as he noted in a November 2009 article in The Japan Times Online.
This “Bretton Woods II” comes along just as the Trilateral Commission will be meeting at the same time in Washington, D.C. With an apparent goal of creating nothing less than a new global economy, Soros is spending $50 million in New Hampshire to bring together up to 200 academic, business and government policy leaders under his Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET).
As AFP goes to press, the attendees are to include ex-Fed Chairman Paul Volcker, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and World Bank executive and Nobel Prize winner in economics Joseph Stiglitz.
The conference is slated for the Mount Washington Hotel, site of the historic 1944 Bretton Woods conference, which established the post-World War II international financial architecture.

“Two mainstream news organizations are receiving hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars from Obamacare’s Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP) — a $5 billion grant program that’s doling out cash to companies, states and labor unions in what the Obama administration considers an effort to pay for health insurance for early retirees. The Washington Post Company raked in $573,217 in taxpayer subsidies and CBS Corporation secured $722,388 worth of Americans’ money,” writesMatthew Boyle for The Daily Caller.
“When NBC used to cover energy issues, they identified themselves as a subsidiary of General Electric. CBS and Washington Post just have to disclose that they are subsidiaries of the Obama Administration,” quipped Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican.
It’s a bit more sinister than that. The Obama administration is owned by Goldman Sachs and the banksters on Wall Street. CBS, the Washington Post, and the rest of the corporate media is controlled by the CIA, which was created by Wall Street and other establishment insiders.

In an interview with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer, Christie offered no apology for his often tough talk that has left some teachers feeling bruised. He also talked about the presidential possibilities of both himself and his “friend” Donald Trump, and criticism by Jersey rock icon Bruce Springsteen.
While sitting in the school library at Lincoln School in Kearney, N.J., Christie told Sawyer that it’s essential for his state’s education system to change and he blames the teachers union for the harsh cuts his administration is making, that includes layoffs and larger classrooms.
“I believe the teachers in New Jersey in the main are wonderful public servants that care deeply. But their union, their union are a group of political thugs,” Christie said.
He said the New Jersey Education Association refused to negotiate on a salary freeze last year. “They should have taken the salary freeze. They didn’t and now, you know, we had to lay teachers off.”

Reporting from Baghdad, Iraq yesterday, NBC’s Tom Brokaw said the Saudi Arabian monarchy is “so unhappy with the Obama administration for the way it pushed out President Mubarak of Egypt” that it has sent senior officials to the Peoples’ Republic of China and Russia to seek expanded business opportunities with those countries.
After remarking on the difficulty of establishing democracy in the Middle East, Brokaw said that Defense Secretary Robert Gates “will face some tough questions in this region about the American intentions going on now with all this new turmoil, especially in an area where the United States has such big stakes politically and economically.”
“And a lot of those questions presumably will come from King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia,” reported Brokaw on the Nightly News. “I was told on the way in here that the Saudis are so unhappy with the Obama administration for the way it pushed out President Mubarak of Egypt that it sent high level emissaries to China and Russia to tell those two countries that Saudi Arabia now is prepared to do more business with them.”
Brokaw continued, “Back here in Iraq, the political and the economic situation remains fragile. So fragile that the U.N. secretary general is worried that this country could now see massive protests in the streets once again.”
Earlier in his report, Brokaw noted that while U.S. military forces are supposed to leave Iraq at year’s end, the U.S. Embassy staff was being beefed-up from 8,000 to nearly 20,000 personnel.
“So Iraq is a reminder of just how difficult it is to establish a democracy in this part of the world,” said Brokaw. “After all, we’ve been at war here for eight years now, hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent, and thousands and thousands of lives have been lost on both sides.

Glenn Beck will end his daily show at FOX News.
The New York Times reported:
Glenn Beck will end his daily Fox News Channel program later this year.
His departure was jointly announced in a statement on Wednesday by Fox and Mr. Beck’s company, Mercury Radio Arts. The statement did not specify an end date for the show, called “Glenn Beck,” which has been telecast at 5 p.m. on Fox News since early 2009.
Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, which have sometimes clashed over the making of “Glenn Beck,” will “work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties,” the companies said in the statement.
As expected, a senior Fox News executive, Joel Cheatwood, will join Mr. Beck at Mercury Radio Arts starting later this month.
The statement was briefly posted on The Blaze, a Web site owned by Mr. Beck, but it was then taken down. Representatives for Fox and Mr. Beck did not immediately explain why.

The Ecomonic Collapse
Now that nearly a month has gone by since the horrific tsunami in Japan on March 11th, it is starting to become clear just how much economic damage has been done. The truth is that the Japanese economy is in much bigger trouble than most people think. This is almost certainly going to be the most expensive disaster in Japanese history. The tsunami that struck Japan on March 11th swept up to 6 miles inland, destroying virtually everything in the way. Thousands upon thousands of Japanese were killed and entire cities were wiped off the map. Yes, Japan is a resilient nation, but exactly how does a nation that is already drowning in debt replace dozens of cities and towns that are suddenly gone? The truth is that thousands of square miles have been more completely destroyed than if they had been bombed by a foreign military force. The loss of homes, cars, businesses and personal wealth is almost unimaginable. It is going to take many years to rebuild the roads, bridges, rail systems, ports, power lines and water systems that were lost. Nobody is quite sure when the rolling blackouts are going to end, and nobody is quite sure when all of the damaged manufacturing facilities are going to be fully brought back online.
On top of everything else, the nuclear crisis at Fukushima never seems to end. In fact, it seems to get worse with each passing day. Read More

Congressman Ron Paul, icon to liberty lovers the world over, sent a stark message this week to ruling elite “internationalists” attempting to expand globalism via the Western military industrial complex – you will fail.
Speaking on the nationally syndicated Alex Jones Show, Paul expressed his concern that a deeply malign form of globalism is being promoted and expanded on the back of international crises, namely the political upheaval in the middle east and north Africa, coupled with ongoing financial meltdown.
“The new world order people see it as an opportunity to move one step forward.” Paul stated, alluding to an infamous description of the current US led international coalition of powers.
“Bush senior bragged about that, remember he didn’t want to go to Congress, he came and got a token approval in 1990/91 for the Persian Gulf war, but he got his orders from the UN, he didn’t need to go to Congress… That was the first time I heard a president use the words ‘new world order’, anyone who used that had to be a conspiracy nut, but Bush was saying this is what we need to do for the ‘new world order’.” Paul explained.
