Times are tight for everyone. The economy is obviously a wreck, and things are only getting worse. Every penny counts, and we all have certainly felt compelled to keep a master level Kung Fu grip on our wallets. That said, today we are here to ask you to loosen that grip just a little, and help us build a better economy with you. That’s right, we need money to make the Alternative Market Project go viral…

Alt-Market is now moving into the advertising phase, in which we will be launching various ad campaigns on major websites. I will also be traveling as often as possible to liberty based conventions across the country to spread the word on barter networking, private trade, and sound money initiatives. We will soon be working with John Chamber’s of the Save America Foundation and Dr. Kirk Elliott of the Mcalvany Financial Company to provide valuable investment information to those who frequent our websites, as well as an excellent source for precious metals. This will bring in some revenues to help support Alt-Market, but the majority of funding will come from readers like you.

Our current goal is $5000 to begin advertising and to cover convention costs. If only half of the readers who frequent this site daily donated a mere $10 each, we could surpass this goal easily. We are also announcing our goal of 50,000 participants for the Alternative Market Project, or 1000 members per state. This may seem like a lofty aspiration, but I believe it could be met and then some with the right amount of advertising and word of mouth.

I don’t have to tell you, barter networking and localized commerce is of the utmost importance RIGHT NOW. Time appears to be running out, and we must work fast to make the Alternative Market Project a success before the year is over.

We will be making regular posts at Neithercorp.us and Alt-Market.com as to the progress of this Fundraising Drive, and we will also be giving you regular updates as to the progress of Alt-Market traffic and membership numbers.

7:00 AM: I wake up this morning and every morning with thoughts on how I may better expose the Federal Reserve and the fetid, morally bankrupt corporate bankers who constructed it. Drink orange juice. Change out of my Gadsden Flag pajamas and jump into the shower. Sing the lyrics to Jimi Hendrix’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’. Rinse. Repeat.

8:00 AM: I jot down my immediate thoughts for the next terroristic macroeconomic analysis article I plan to complete later in the day with my long horrifying trigger happy terrorist fingers on my terrorist built supercomputer. I also eat a blueberry muffin, probably heated to sumptuous perfection by bakers of the terrorist persuasion. As you know, we are everywhere. Booga booga…

9:00 AM: Go out for my five mile jog. Have to stay in tip top condition if Homeland Security plans to hunt me down for all those goods and silver I’ve been trading on the evil right wing extremist ultra maxi secret black market. Flea markets, farmers markets, garage sales, private exchanges of eggs and milk, all under the nose of the IRS! You name it, I sully the “pristine” nature of the Federal Reserve system with it.

10:00 AM: Arrive at my day job where I talk to fellow employees and even employers CONSTANTLY about the stagflationary threats to the U.S. economy, the inherent tyranny of the central banking philosophy, the complete idiocy of the Keynesian methodology, the risk of Treasury depreciation and the loss of the greenback’s world reserve currency status, along with the need for sound money initiatives, localized commerce, state sovereignty legislation, and personal defense. Somehow, they have not yet realized that I am a terrorist. Mark Potok needs to get his message out there more effectively…

6:00 PM: Arrive home from a hard day’s work. Make dinner devoid of artificial sweeteners, chemical preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup. For some reason, I care about my overall health and shudder at the prospect of feeding from the corporately produced slop trough, which only seems to slowly morph any unsuspecting human being into a 300 pound boil infested bottom feeding kankle troll with the logical and intuitive capacity of a sea monkey. Watch rerun of Three’s Company (Hey, that show is funny…)

7:00 PM: Sink into couch for some much needed rest.

7:15 PM: Get up off of couch and start my second job as a terrorist writer. We are indeed relentless.

11:00 PM: After spreading my vicious propaganda about how the leaderships of both major political parties support nearly the same exact legislation and only seem to disagree in rhetoric, or when the particular issue is ultimately unimportant to the progression of globalization, as well as the inevitable downfall of the American financial system facilitated by the deliberate creation of the derivatives crisis by the Federal Reserve and global banks like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, etc, I then have a shot of whiskey. Sometimes its depressing being a terrorist, and you have to take the edge off.

12:00 AM: I now answer many emails from other would be terrorists across the country who have been wiled by the undeniably rich and sexy allure of the lifestyle. Being labeled a terrorist is truly fun and exciting. Being constantly aware of the Godzilla-like rampage of international banks and the Fed across the ruins of our monetary system while half of the public is more concerned about what kind of Gordita they want from Taco Bell is immensely comforting. All the extra attention we receive from such highly placed individuals as Janet Napolitano makes us feel like celebrities. I imagine any group in history who has been singled out by government for their political and social views or their desire to fix the obvious inadequacies of their authority structure has felt the same way……fabulous.

1:00 AM: Time to sleep. Warm milk? Check. Air conditioning at optimum temperature? Check. Bed spread neatly folded for easy access? Check. Low playing mood music? Check. Loaded semi-automatic pistol under pillow? Check. (This is actually true in some cases, and you know what? I salute those people.) Commence operation Sheep Count. Try to supplant the concerns and the tensions of a world tomorrow that could be drastically different and even more frightening than the one we live in today. Worry that I should be sleeping less and working more to prepare others for what is coming. Hoping that my belief in the greater potential of mankind is not a waste, and that my efforts will yield something better for those generations that follow my own. Yes, I am an extremist, and a deviant. I will never stop pursuing the tidings of liberty, regardless of the cost. I am a madman. However, this makes me wonder, what does it mean to be deemed a madman in a society run by madmen? What does it mean to be judged a deviant in a nation dominated by deviants? Why is it that a so called “terrorist” in an atmosphere of dread and tyranny always seems to end up being but a man who only seeks to be free?

There was a time when having one’s name listed in the despised ranks of those villains that governments often categorize as “terrorists” involved quite a bit of leg work, as well as an ominous running resume of death, destruction, and general mean spiritedness. Of course, if one examines the history of every modern country which eventually disintegrated into despotism, the definition of who the “enemy” is tends to become rather broad rather quickly. That is to say, the more criminal the leadership of a country becomes, the easier it is for the average person to find himself labeled a criminal by that same leadership.

Today, one does not need to blow up buildings, take hostages in political motivation, send anthrax through the mail, or even wave a gun around in a public place to be considered a terrorist threat. In fact, a man could never leave his house and still find himself under suspicion as an enemy of the state. The Department of Homeland Security has released numerous standardized guidelines to law enforcement offices across the country which are meant to make it “easier” for police and others to identify a possible terrorist. If you were to take at face value such documents as the now famous MIAC Report, the Virginia Fusion Center Report, the DHS’ “see something, say something” campaign, the Enemy Belligerents Act, the post trial statements of the Department Of Justice in the Liberty Dollar case, or the wild spewing rhetoric of establishment mouthpiece organizations like the SPLC, then you would discover that a likely terrorist is:

Anyone who talks frequently about the Constitution, or ill of the government
Anyone who supports the idea of a Constitutional Militia
Anyone who fights against anti-gun legislation, or owns many guns (man do we LOVE guns)
Anyone who supports state sovereignty and 10th Amendment issues
Anyone who supports Ron Paul (the ultimate sin according to the SPLC)
Anyone who believes the private Federal Reserve is destroying our economy
Anyone who talks about the “New World Order”, or global government (does this include men like George Soros, Joseph Biden, Gordon Brown, Henry Kissinger, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Strobe Talbot, George McGovern, Mikhail Gorbachev, Richard Nixon, etc.?)
Anyone who discusses economic collapse as a reality in the U.S.
Anyone who speaks out against the IRS
Anyone who participates in “Hacktivism” (including those who leak documents embarrassing to government)
Anyone who participates in any form of activist group
Anyone who argues that the Left/Right political paradigm is a scam
Anyone who promotes Anarchist views
Anyone who distrusts FEMA (as if Katrina did not give us ample reasons)
Anyone who believes a truly independent investigation of 9/11 is rational and called for
Anyone who home schools their children

In 1971, during my first year of law school, the contracts professor informed us that private-sector union power was declining and would continue to do so. He said, “Watch what happens over the next several decades — unions will thrive by unionizing public employees.”

The decline of unions in the private sector was the result of their success in exacting concession after concession from private business, and it worked — for a while. It worked because the U.S. faced little serious competition in world markets, and companies were able to simply pass on the costs to consumers. However, the truth is that approximately 290,000 part-time jobs were created and about 80,000 full-time jobs were actually lost. This is all part of a long-term trend in America. Good jobs are rapidly disappearing and they are being replaced by low paying service jobs that do not pay a living wage. In many American households today, both parents have multiple jobs. Even as Barack Obama officially declares his intent to run for re-election as President of the United States, questions of his legitimacy are being raised in ever greater numbers – and rightfully so.

Let us cut to the core on this “Birther” issue shall we? As most within the media continue to either ignore, or offer up repeated defense in favor of Barack Obama’s constitutional qualification to run for President of the United States, some very simple facts persist that point to potentially troubling – perhaps even explosive, truths regarding the early history of Barack Obama.

Putting aside the rather colorful history of Obama’s far left radical atheist mother, who, according to Obama’s own story, struck up relations with an African born political radical/Marxist/atheist who, soon after Obama’s birth, returned to Africa. (Where he had already fathered and abandoned two earlier children when coming to America. It is likely Obama Sr. was still married to a woman in Africa at the time he married Barack’s mother Ann Dunham.) And let us also put aside the second prominent (and almost equally controversial) male figure in Obama’s life, his alcoholic stepfather Lolo Soetoro, a Muslim Indonesian government worker. And then we come to the grandparents – who, much like their free love 60’s daughter, embraced much of the goofy multi-cultural radicalism of the 1960’s and 70’s – a radicalism they firmly implanted in a young, insecure, and very impressionable Barack Obama. The Dunham’s, while living in Washington State, were enthusiastic members of the East Shore Unitarian Church, a far-left institution once led by admitted communist John Stenhouse. The Unitarian Church is noted for its far left ideology, support of socialist causes, environmentalism, and world government. Of course there is also the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, the Black communist who the Dunham’s decided would prove a strong male influence in the life of young Barack – an influence Barack himself would later openly acknowledge. Davis was a social-justice poet-author and member of the American Communist Party. (again – just ignore all of these details folks, just as the mainstream media has…nothing to see here…move along now…) The influence of Davis on Obama is undeniable. In the 1940s and 50s Davis became immersed in the Chicago labor movement, lending his services as a literary community organizer – the very path Barack Obama would later choose when he would relocate to Chicago from Hawaii. And what then of that Chicago arrival? Who was the defining male figure of influence for a still-young but rising star Barack Obama then? Why, none other than the Reverend Jeremiah Goddamn America!Wright, then-leader of Trinity Church in Chicago, an institution Barack Obama was a member of for some 20 years. There should be no debate over spending in D.C. at this point. Over the last seventy years, our federal government, behaving as an unconstitutional supreme central power, has sent the most productive and prosperous nation on earth on the path toward third-world status.

Bickering over a few billion in planned deficit spending above $1.65 trillion in just the next year -- when the nation is already more than $14 trillion in unsustainable debt threatening the very existence of our dollar -- is the definition of insanity.

Democrats are forcing a so-called shutdown in their effort to keep spending money we don't have. Republicans are calling for only a symbolic level of spending cuts. Nobody in Washington, D.C. seems serious about ending the fiscal insanity. Even the president's bipartisan debt panel is recommending deficit spending for at least another twenty-five years.

I say, shut it down! The federal government has done as much to harm the union of states as it has ever done to improve freedom and liberty in America. We will be better off without a federal government, with each state able to fund and govern itself better than the Fed ever could.

Extreme threats demand extreme measures, and nothing threatens the future freedom and prosperity of the United States more than our own federal government. Enemies beyond, we can deal with. It's the enemy within which threatens us most today. It's time to shut it down and reset.  Read More

The former Hawaii elections official who maintains there’s no long-form birth certificate for Barack Obama in the Aloha State is now saying the president and his aides have been “caught fibbing” about Obama’s background, and the “embarrassing” situation is making it difficult to fess up to the truth.

Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 campaign, made the statements in a two-hour interview with a group looking to disprove claims made by so-called birthers, those challenging Obama’s legal qualification to be president.

“I think people believe there’s been some kind of cover-up. And I don’t think it’s some big nefarious conspiracy. I think it’s politics as usual,” Adams said March 31 on Reality Check Radio, an Internet program on BlogTalkRadio.

“Barack Obama’s official autobiography was put out to the public for the public’s consumption and we all know politicians – they have a public persona, it’s created for consumption by the electorate – and I think that they’ve been caught fibbing, and it’s embarrassing.”

But Adams, who described himself as “pretty much a liberal” who backed Hillary Clinton in the campaign, thinks the president should produce a long-form birth certificate if he has one, even if it contains information that does not go along with the narrative proffered so far by Obama and his surrogates.

“I think as much trauma as all this has caused,” Adams said, “I think if Barack Obama has lied about where he was born or if there’s something about his birth that he doesn’t want people to publicly know, if he would come out and simply say something like that, I think most people would go, ‘Oh, OK,’ and they would go on about their business ’cause they’ve got a thousand more important things to do.”  Read More

Congress repeals burdensome 1099 requirement in Obamacare; full repeal may be on the way

(NaturalNews) The first signs of a full repeal of the Obama health care overhaul emerged this week when the US Congress finally voted to repeal key portions of the bill that would have imposed significant new tax and paperwork burdens on small businesses. US Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) hailed the repeal as a "down payment on total repeal," indicating that the GOP-dominated Congress still plans to aggressively move forward against the bill.

The Washington Times reports that the move to eliminate the 1099 provision is the first major change to the health care bill that has taken place since it was first voted into law. And it was one that both Democrats and Republicans eventually ended up agreeing to oppose together, a move that may signal a significant boost in momentum towards increased bipartisan support for other key health care repeals.

The repealed 1099 provision would have allegedly raised about $19 billion to help pay for the enormous costs associated with Obamacare. Now that this funding source has been eliminated -- with nothing else having been put in its place as a replacement -- some of the logistical wind in the health bill's sails has also been removed.  Read More
