The Story of Your Enslavement

The government can help itself to as much of your property (and therefore time) as it pleases. This means that you are a slave. Here’s a brief history explaining the rise of the modern system of mass enslavement:
Our soft tyranny is dying, having spent itself to the point of implosion. Whether it is replaced by a hard tyranny or by liberty will be determined by whether liberals or patriots prevail.

(ABC News) — President Obama will return to Washington, D.C., tonight, one day earlier than originally planned, White House officials said.
The president made the decision to cut short his family vacation on Martha’s Vineyard shortly after addressing the nation about the impending danger of Hurricane Irene, which he said has the potential to be “historic.”
Obama is expected to arrive back at the White House on Friday evening. His family will remain on the Vineyard through Saturday morning.
The family had been scheduled to return to Washington together tomorrow afternoon.

Stunning Map: Want to See Where the World’s Unrest is Spreading?
August 26, 2011
The Blaze
Business Insider published a map on Friday that caught the attention of Glenn Beck. And it should catch yours.
Below you’ll be able to see where in the world food riots are taking place. But not just food riots, you’ll also see where governments have been overthrown, where protests and other riots are occurring, where there’s inflation, and even where social media has been shut down. It’s a fascinating map.
But what may be the most interesting is that it seems like the unrest is spreading.
“Most of the inflation riots and protests are concentrated in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region,” EconoMatters writes on the Business Insider site, “but as you can see on the Google map, they are starting to migrate into Europe, as well as China and India.”
It continues:
In the U.S., anemic growth, an ongoing housing depression, high unemployment and two rounds of quantitative easing (QE) probably have laid a pretty solid foundation for a similar riot map if Chairman Bernanke decides to grace us with QE3.
No longer, then, is the unrest localized to the “Arab Spring” countries from a few months ago. As Beck has talked about for a while, this could be the start of the “coming insurrection.”

Who We Are as a Nation

Who made progressives the arbiters of the American Dream?
America used to mean something. The Statue of Liberty represented independence, what it meant collectively to be an American. There was a reason why millions risked life and limb to come to our shores. We are a nation of immigrants with a strong work ethic. America was built on hard work, sweat, self-determination, and freedom. We were free and we were proud to be Americans.
We are not who liberals decide us to be. We are not children who need to be told by the government how to live and to be shameful and apologetic about our American exceptionalism. We are patriots and love our country because we feel so in our hearts, because we are free. We are not children who have to stay in their parents’ homes until the age of 26, finding ourselves, because some misguided elected official says we should be on welfare and free healthcare. Glenn Beck and Larry Derfner Turn the World Upside Down
August 25, 2011
By Yoel Meltzer
American Thinker
Yesterday I joined a large crowd at Safra Square, Jerusalem's civic center, for the public viewing of Glen Beck's live broadcast in the nearby Old City of Jerusalem.
Although I know very little about either the personal or professional background of Glenn Beck, his recent involvement with Israel has brought him into my orbit. For the last few months I've heard the various accusations and warnings from all corners of the Jewish world -- for some he's a right-wing extremist and fascist while for others his strong Mormon beliefs arouse suspicion.
With these thoughts on my mind I decided, following Dudu Fisher's stirring rendition of Israel's national anthem "Hatikvah," to just sit back and hear the man talk. As it turns out, I wasn't disappointed.
For starters, the claims that the man is an extremist or fascist regarding his views on Israel are absolute nonsense. It was obvious to anyone who was there yesterday that the man was just speaking the clear, direct and honest truth. Having said that, in a world that has been heavily influenced by a biased and skewed projection of Israel in large sections of both the mainstream western media and the academic world, and where hypocrisy rules the day as Israel is routinely singled out and condemned by the international community, it should come as no surprise that Beck's words concerning Israel are difficult for certain people to digest.
Regarding the second apprehension, although I don't claim in any way to be a psychologist it seemed clear to me that his concern for Israel and the Jewish people is genuine and not part of some ulterior religious mission.
As the secular Israeli teenagers sitting behind me repeatedly shouted "ha-ish gadol!" ("the man is great!"), I kept thinking to myself "why don't we have any Jewish leaders that speak this way?"
With these thoughts still fresh in my mind, I was forwarded this morning an article called The awful, necessary truth about Palestinian terror from the blog of Larry Derfner, a columnist for the Jerusalem Post. Already known as a far left-wing columnist, in this article Derfner simply went over the edge.
Never mind his preoccupation with the so-called Israeli "occupation". This is nothing new, even if I don't agree with him or anyone else on this issue. In fact, I actually welcome opposing views and I'm always happy to discuss the issues. Derfner, however, does the unthinkable, taking his beliefs to another level in order to justify the Arab murder of Israelis. He writes:
"Whoever the Palestinians were who killed the eight Israelis near Eilat last week, however vile their ideology was, they were justified to attack. They had the same right to fight for their freedom as any other unfree nation in history ever had."
Such statements, even from a hard-core Israeli leftist, are quite shocking. In comparison Yossi Sarid, the former leader of the far-left political party Meretz and harsh critic of Israeli presence in Yesha, never advocated Arab violence against Jews and only supported active civil revolt against what he considered the illegal Israeli occupation. Or even former prime minister and current defense minister Ehud Barak, who made the supremely foolish and irresponsible statement during a 1998 interview -- "If I were a Palestinian at the right age, I would have joined one of the terrorist organizations at a certain stage" -- never actually condoned the Arab murder of Israelis.
Thus Derfner's comments are both shocking and disturbing. But in a world turned upside down it shouldn't come as a surprise when Glenn Beck, the non-Jew, is criticized by some Jews for being too pro-Israel while Larry Derfner, the Jew, writes for a mainstream Jewish newspaper despite the fact that he condones the Arab murder of Jews.

The US Government's agenda to lobotomize the majority of Americans
We Love Freedom! Wait, What’s Freedom?
August 25, 2011
Jeff Berwick, The Dollar Vigilante
The US Government’s agenda to lobotomize the majority of Americans has been an unequivocal success.
Americans now live in one of the world’s least free prison camps yet when asked they will tell you they live in the land of the free and, on top of that, they are attacking and occupying countries who did nothing to them because “they hate us for our freedom”!
They’ve been indoctrinated all of their formative years in mandatory children concentration camps (public schools or private, government regulated schools) and the Government and Federal Reserve has destroyed the economy to the point that it is the rare mother who actually stays home with her kids. Mom and Dad are both out working because they can’t afford not to. And even if they can, the government promotes “women’s liberation”, which like all government programs, means the opposite of what it is called – and Mom works a full day before returning home exhausted and then giving her kids another few hours of brainwashing via television to complete the full day of programming. They even call it that right to their face… “we now return to your regularly scheduled programming”. It’s okay, no one ever figures it out. Read More

Levin: The Obamas love living like a king and a queen

outrage like nobody else.
Levin..."This president is a joke."
August 25, 2011
The Right Scoop
Mark Levin blasts the President and the First Lady for ‘living it up’ on the taxpayer dole all the while rubbing it in our faces. This is all based on a report by the Daily Mail that the First Lady has spent over 10 million of taxpayer money on her vacations (via Daily Caller):
They talk a good game about the little people. They talk a good game about the average family, the middle class. ‘I wanna help this group, I wanna help that group.’ What they are is power hungry. They love living like a king and a queen. And they’re arrogant about it. They’re rubbing our noses in it. That’s why people are getting pissed off!

Beck Issues Call for ‘Human Responsibility’ Movement; Departs Jerusalem for South Africa
August 24, 2011

The heat of the afternoon sun in Jerusalem could not match the fervor of Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Courage” call to follow a “pillar of fire” in pursuit of the truth and wisdom.
After months of preparation, the controversial event unfolded smoothly with Beck telling the large crowd, “I have been asked: What can you teach Israel about Courage? My answer is simple. Nothing. Then they ask: Why are you coming to Israel? Because, I say: In Israel, you see courage.”
Beck described the world as “confused,” and pointed to flash points in Europe as signs of societies losing touch with philosophical moorings: Read More

Bonny Prince Barry? Is Obama preparing to fly the coop?
August 22, 2011
By James V Capua
American Thinker
Is our current "Young Pretender" preparing to fly the coop even before his Culloden in 2012?
Until the advent of Barack Obama, Charles Edward Stuart (1720-1788), called The Young Pretender, was a prime contender for the title of greatest narcissistic waster of other people's time and trouble in history. The Stuarts' hopeless quest to reclaim the throne of England brought little beyond misery to the Scots, many of whom subsequently turned their backs on the Highlands to wrest a better life out of the American wilderness.
The restoration of the Stuarts was, by the
middle of the eighteenth century, a romantic dream, not unlike our own Hope and Change. Certainly, like Hope and Change, it served the needs of some powerful interests to foster the Stuart cause, but in the end the Jacobite dream dashed itself headlong into reality and fell to pieces, leaving the poorest of its adherents, who "trusted" in their Prince from Across the Water, to pay a terrible price. Charlie, who had grown up in Rome as a pampered aristocrat, with about as much connection to those he sent to ruin and misery as our own vacationer-in-chief, whined and complained his way through The Forty-Five, as the Jacobite Rebellion was called, but at least stuck it out until the final disaster at Culloden before fleeing. One begins to wonder whether Barack Obama will be so resolute.
In Chicago, where they know him best, there are doubts that he will:

Getting Off The Globalist Chess Board: Safe Haven Relocation
August 22, 2011
By Brandon Smith and Stewart Rhodes
Special Note: This is the second part in our ‘Getting Off The Globalist Chessboard’ series. Go here to read Part I. Also go to Operation Sleeping Giant for more information , and, be sure to check out our recently launched Safe Haven State Project (page still under construction).
As we noted in part one of this series:
“To put it simply, America is nearing a checkmate scenario. Like the final torrid maneuvers of a rigged chess match, we have been pressed, manipulated, and attacked into the last remaining corner of the “grand global chessboard” left to us; centralized control of all social and economic power into the hands of an unworthy elite. If we continue playing the game by their rules, we will lose. There is no doubt. There have been many solutions presented to us in the past to combat this development, but nearly all of them function within the constraints of Federal politics. Working within the system has earned us no quarter, and frankly, no results. Our only recourse (and, frankly, the best recourse all along) is to STOP relying on the rules of their game, and to walk away from the chess board completely...”
Ideally, it would be grand if enough Americans across this nation would decouple from the fraudulent fiat system so that they and their communities could be sufficiently strong, independent, and resilient enough to weather the coming storm and walk out the other side free. Whatever our individual circumstances, wherever we are, we should work toward that goal; decentralized and sovereign – starting with ourselves, then working outward to galvanize and steel our families, our close friends and distant relatives, our neighborhoods, towns, counties, and then, of course, our states.
Through this effort, we greatly improve our own chances, and equally important, the chances of our communities and our country. It is not only for us to save ourselves, but also to restore our Republic, from the ground up.
We also need to face the reality that an economic collapse is very likely to come before such a renaissance of preparedness will see the light of day. We must accept that in many parts of modern day America, we will not be able to wake up enough people in time to prevent a U.S. version of what we now see in the riots of England, as well as what we saw here in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, but on a national scale – unprepared people who are desperate and scared, or those who are willing to take advantage of the situation to loot, rob, rape, assault, and even kill their fellow citizens. Christianity and War
The result of this American exceptionalism is a foreign policy that is aggressive, reckless, belligerent, and meddling. This is why U.S. foreign policy results in discord, strife, hatred, and terrorism toward the United States. We would never tolerate another country engaging in an American-style foreign policy. How many countries are allowed to build military bases and station troops in the United States? It is the height of arrogance to insist that the United States alone has the right to garrison the planet with bases, station troops wherever it wants, intervene in the affairs of other countries, and be the world’s policeman, fireman, social worker, security guard, mediator, and babysitter.

Although I am a Bible-believing Christian and a theological and cultural conservative, I write extensively about the biblical, economic, and political fallacies of religious people, and especially on the topic of Christianity and war. This is a subject where ignorance abounds in both pulpit and pew, and most of it willful ignorance. This is a subject that exposes Bible scholars as Bible illiterates. This is a subject that turns Christians into disgraceful apologists of the state, its leaders, its military, and its wars. This is a subject that reveals pro-life Christians to be two-faced supporters of wholesale murder. Read More
