Federal Judge Rules Obama Administration in Contempt For Continuing Job-Killing Drilling Moratorium

Federal Judge Rules Obama Administration in Contempt For Continuing Job-Killing Drilling Moratorium

Posted by Jim Hoft
February 3, 2011

In May, Barack Obama, the worst jobs president since the Great Depression, announced that he would limit new oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Barack Obama knew his offshore drilling moratorium would cost at least 23,000 jobs but went ahead with it anyway. After all, what’s another 23,000 jobs when you’ve lost several million already?

In June it was reported that Team Obama fudged a report to support their drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico.

But this didn’t stop the Obama Administration. These radical leftists still have not lifted their deepwater-drilling moratorium. This week a federal judge ruled the Obama Administration was in contempt for continuing the job-killing stunt.

We Are Witnessing the Collapse of the Middle East
By James Simpson

If Egypt should fall, it will mark the beginning of the end for what little remaining stability there is in the Middle East. Jordan is facing similar unrest, as are Algeria and Yemen. Lebanon and Tunisia fell in January. It is highly unlikely that these events are unrelated. A combination of leftist and Islamist forces provoked the protests, and we are likely looking at a ring of radical Islamic states rising up to surround Israel. Once their power is solidified, perhaps in a year or two, they will combine forces to attack Israel. If Israel falls, the United States will stand alone in a sea of virulent enemies and impotent allies.

So whom does Obama support, Mubarak or his enemies?

Obama wasted no time in telling us. He supports Mubarak's opponents, and he probably has been all along. The Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday that the Obama administration favors a role for the Muslim Brotherhood in a new Egyptian government.

The Muslim Brotherhood, the oldest extremist Muslim organization, is behind practically every Muslim terrorist organization ever formed. And while they may have publicly renounced violence as the LA Times article claims, internal documents tell a completely different story.

And if that weren't bad enough, Obama's latest comment to Egypt's leader is that "an orderly transition ... must begin now."

Must begin. Now.

Juxtapose Obama's statements toward our allies with his reaction to the genuine uprising that occurred last year in Iran. Tunisia: "Reform or be overthrown." Egypt: "an orderly transition ... must begin now." Iran: "It is not productive ... to be seen as meddling." Meanwhile, candidate Obama claimed that the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezb'allah have "legitimate claims," and we all remember his mindless counterterrorism czar, John Brennan, reaching out to "moderate" Hezb'allah members last spring. Hezb'allah moderates?

The seeming inconsistency is astonishing. Unfortunately, there is a consistency. Obama uniformly sides with our enemies but rarely, if ever, with our friends and allies. His administration is packed with far-left radicals and vicious anti-Semites. And therein lies the rub, because what we are witnessing in reality is this president's un-American, anti-American, treasonous ideology in full play.  Read More

Levin blasts McCain: You’re a loser and a menace!

Posted by The Right Scoop
Feb 3, 2011 in Politics

Levin wrote this morning on his facebook:

John [McCain] was on Fox’s Greta show last night. In about three minutes’ time, he demanded Mubarak’s immediate resignation, adding fuel to that fire, he insulted the Pakistan army and gave credence to the jihadists’ accusation that Kiyani is our man, he gave encouragement to the protestors in Jordan, and he said a number of stupid things reinforcing the Muslim Brotherhood propaganda and strategy. So, force Mubarak out immediately in the midst of what looks like anarchy, replace him Suleiman, then have the U.S. do everything it can to stabilize the situation. Take down the governments in Jordan and Pakistan and replace them with, what?

Our nation is being led by ideologues and amateurs. That’s the real danger.

Tonight he ripped into McCain even more.  To Listen

Obama Lies About His Father's Muslim Faith

Sad. Obama Lies to National Prayer Breakfast About His Father’s Muslim Faith

Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday,

Is there anything this man won’t do to pander for votes?  Barack Obama today lied at the National Prayer Breakfast and covered up his father’s Muslim faith. CNN posted the transcript:

"This may come as a surprise, for as some of you know, I did not come from a particularly religious family. My father, who I barely knew – I only met once for a month in my entire life – was said to be a non-believer throughout his life."

Of course, this is not true. Obama’s father Barack Obama, Sr. was a Muslim and it even lists him as a Muslim on his Wikepedia page. In fact, Rev. Franklin Graham and The New York Times agree that Barack was born a Muslim.

Even Donald Trump Is Warning That An Economic Collapse Is Coming

The Economic Collapse
Feb 3, 2011

In a shocking new interview, Donald Trump has gone farther than he ever has before in discussing a potential economic collapse in America. Using phrases such as "you’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon" and "we could end up being another Egypt", Trump explained to Newsmax that he is incredibly concerned about the direction our economy is headed. Whatever you may think of Donald Trump on a personal level, it is undeniable that he has been extremely successful in business. As one of the most prominent businessmen in America, he is absolutely horrified about what is happening to this nation. In fact, he is so disturbed about the direction that this country is heading that he is seriously considering running for president in 2012. But whether he decides to run in 2012 or not, what Trump is now saying about the U.S. economy should be a huge wake up call for all of us.

Trump says that the U.S. government is broke, that all of our jobs are being shipped overseas, that other nations are heavily taking advantage of us and that the value of the U.S. dollar is being destroyed. The following interview with Trump was originally posted on Newsmax and it is really worth watching....

Now, you may or may not think much of Donald Trump as a politician, but when a businessman of his caliber starts using apocalyptic language to describe where the U.S. economy is headed perhaps we should all pay attention. Read More

Obama’s Blocking Of New Power Plants Triggers Nationwide Blackouts

Fury as hospitals hit with outages while post-industrial collapse of America accelerates

The rolling blackouts now being implemented in Texas and across the country as record cold weather grips the United States are a direct consequence of the Obama administration’s agenda to lay siege to the coal industry, launch a takeover of infrastructure under the contrived global warming scam, and help usher in the post-industrial collapse of America.

Planned power outages conducted by utility companies have caused outrage amongst officials at four major hospitals in Texas, at Parkland, Baylor, Methodist and Presbyterian Dallas.

“Because of the sensitive life-saving equipment, hospitals are considered “critical care facilities,” and supposed to be exempt from rolling blackouts,” reports CBS 11. “That’s exactly what Presbyterian Dallas was led to believe. “We were of the understanding that hospitals and other critical-care providers were not supposed to be affected by planned outages,” said hospital spokesman Stephen O’Brien.”

As well as hospitals, nursing homes, fire stations, police stations, other emergency response facilities have also been hit with outages as demand soars due to freezing temperatures. Many places in Texas now rely on Mexico to supply their power.  Read More

Obama's Driftwood Diplomacy

February 03, 2011
Driftwood Diplomacy
By Steve McCann

The demonstrations and the genuine possibility of a radical Islamic state eventuating in Egypt are in part the result of President Obama's foreign policy being reactive and not proactive. The United States has placed itself in an era of driftwood diplomacy.

It is often said that when a person has no core and in its place exists a muddled and uncertain belief system, he tends to float along from one crisis in life to another. It is far easier to simply drift along with the current and allow it to take you wherever it may go. These people will ultimately fail in any endeavor.

When the leadership of a great country exhibits these traits, the consequences can be catastrophic. Barack Obama, the product of a lifetime of leftist indoctrination, has as the basic foundation of his muddled and uncertain belief system a conviction that the United States has been the epitome of oppression and arrogance throughout its history.

Beyond that one tenet, Obama grudgingly accepts only crony capitalism, European-style socialism rather than rigid socialist theory, constricted freedom of speech and assembly, and a modified version of self-determination. All of these are anathema to the hardcore left whence he came, but they are also far from the central rights and liberties as determined by the nation's founders.  Read More

Hateful Racist Liberals Call For Lynching of Clarence Thomas at Rally

Posted by Jim Hoft  Thursday, February 3, 2011

Liberal racists called for lynching black Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas at last week’s “Uncloaking the Kochs” event hosted by the leftist group Common Cause.

Don’t expect the state-run media to touch this with a ten-foot pole.
It doesn’t fit their narrative.

Obama Administration Opens Door to Muslim Brotherhood Islamist Group

Barack Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood

Thursday, 03 February 2011
by Robert Spencer

Now that Barack Obama has given a green light to Muslim Brotherhood participation in a new Egyptian government, it is unlikely that the organization will be kept out of power. And since the Brotherhood is the largest and most ideologically committed group in Egyptian politics, most likely it will end up in the driver’s seat in any new regime, and set the nation on course toward becoming an Islamic state.

Obama almost certainly knows all this, and yet approved of Brotherhood involvement anyway. A look at some of his appointments, associations and activities shows that this should come as no surprise.

Starting in the earliest days of his administration, Obama showed an intense desire to establish friendly ties with the Islamic world, while showing little or no interest in examining his chosen partners in dialogue and targets for attempts at rapprochement for ties to jihad terrorism or Islamic supremacism. His uncritical stance toward Islamic organizations included American groups with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, despite the Brotherhood’s stated goal of “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.”  Read More

Pro-Mubarak Marauders Use Horses, Camels, and ‘Chariots’ to Beat Protesters

by Jonathon M. Seidl

It’s one of the strangest sites to come out of the Egyptian unrest over the last nine days. While pro-Mubarak and anti-government protesters clashed in Cairo today, the Mubarak ilk used horses, camels, and chariot-like carriages to charge into the crowd and beat the unruly mob.

Some Government backers were ripped from their mounts and and beaten bloody. It was as if an American Civil War movie was being projected onto an Egyptian backdrop:  Read More

Kennedy miniseries finds a home

The producers of the miniseries "The Kennedys" that was orphaned when the History Channel's parent company refused to broadcast it after pressure was brought by the Kennedy family has found a home.

After a three-week journey, The Kennedys has found a home.

The controversial miniseries will world premiere on April 3 on the ReelzChannel, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Producers of the ambitious project from 24 executive producer Joel Surnow and writer Stephen Kronish have struck a deal with the independent, family-owned cable network to air the 8-part miniseires, which was abruptly yanked from the History channel on January 7 amid pressure from the Kennedys over its depiction of the political family. At the time, History owner A&E Television Networks told THR that "after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand."

But it is certainly a fit for ReelzChannel, a 4-year old independent cable channel owned by Minnesota-based Hubbard Communications that is available in 60 million homes nationwide on services including DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Comcast and Charter Communications.  Read More

States Embrace Limits On Federal Power

With Obamacare ruled unconstitutional; states embrace limits on federal power

Wednesday, February 02, 2011
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com

(NaturalNews) Federal Judge Roger Vinson ruled this week that the "individual mandate" portion of Obama's health care reform was unconstitutional, dealing a significant blow to the Obama administration's desire to force government-run health insurance on the entire U.S. population. Department of Justice spokespeople reacted with a sense of twisted desperation, calling Judge Vinson's decision "judicial activism" as if he were inventing new law. In reality, of course, Judge Vinson merely ruled to protect existing law as written in the United States Constitution.

Three years ago, even President Obama would have agreed with Judge Vinson's decision. In arguing against the idea of an individual mandate in government-run health insurance, President Obama said in 2008, "If a mandate was the solution, we can try to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house."

Obama's quote demonstrates the ludicrousness of the federal government requiring people to buy certain products or services in order to solve what the government perceives as a problem. If the government is allowed to dictate commercial behavior by forcing citizens to purchase things they don't want to purchase, then it won't be long before Washington starts forcing everybody to buy a U.S.-made automobile each year to support the auto industry... or pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other products and services the government wants to push onto the people.  Read More

Increase In Obamacare Waivers To Friends and Insiders

Obama administration issues hundreds of health care exemption waivers to friends

Wednesday, February 02, 2011
by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

NaturalNews) If Obamacare is everything the administration claims it to be, then why are government officials secretly handing out exemption waivers to friends and insiders? A Washington Times report explains that since the health care bill was passed last year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued at 733 exemptions-and-counting to friends of the White House in order to shelter them from the massive insurance rate hikes that the rest of America will get stuck paying, that is if the bill is not overturned or declared unconstitutional.

It began with 111 waivers, which gradually rose to 222, and that has now topped 733. Recipients include various cities and states, businesses, and unions, including the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). SIEU, of course, contributed $27 million to the Obama campaign back in 2008, so perhaps the union's waiver was a friendly "thank you" gift.  Read More

Nothing Is Stable Anymore...Change has become mind-numbing

"Most Americans still don’t really understand that they are now part of a global economy. They keep thinking that things were the way they used to be. They keep thinking that the U.S. economy is invincible."

The Economic Collapse
Feb 2, 2011

The world is becoming a very unstable place, and the pace at which things are changing all around us has become absolutely mind-numbing. In fact, change has become one of the only constants in today’s world. Once upon a time, people in the United States could actually make 20 or 30 year plans and feel confident about achieving them. But now, nothing is stable anymore. The financial crisis showed us that some of the biggest corporations on the globe can collapse in a single day. The events of the past few weeks have shown us that entire governments can be brought down in a single week. We live in a world where there are now very few “guarantees” that you can count on. One of the only things that is guaranteed is that technology and information will continue to grow at exponential speeds. This year, the total amount of information produced on electronic devices around the globe is projected to bemore than a zettabyte. A zettabyte is equivalent to one sextillion bytes. In other words, imagine a one with more than 21 zeroes following it.

Many of the things that we take for granted today didn’t even exist a few short years ago. Facebook has only been with us since 2004. YouTube has only been with us since 2005. Can you imagine a world where those two websites did not exist?

We live in a world of information overload. Once upon a time it would have been possible to go to sleep for a decade and wake up and everything would still be pretty much the same. But today if you were to do that you would be in for a case of severe culture shock.

Do you remember when you could buy a set of encyclopedias and the information in them would still be good a decade or two later?

Well, things do not work that way anymore.  Read More

My apologies for the length of this article, but I see it as extremely important to tell the whole story as it happened.

The Story of the Egyptian Revolution

One week ago, Egypt was a stable authoritarian regime, prospects of change were minimal and every expert in Washington would have betted on the endurance of its regime. Today, Egypt is in a state of chaos. The regime, even after using its mightiest sword is not able to control the country and the streets of Egypt are in a state of utter lawlessness. As the world stands in awe, confusion, and worry at the unfolding events, perhaps it is important to write the evolving story that is happening in Egypt before any reflections can be made on them.

Contrary to pundits, it turns out that the Egyptian regime was neither stable nor secure.  Read More
